Home Repair Grant

Does your home need minor repairs to keep it in good shape?

Neighborhood Housing Services of Kansas City, Inc (NHSKC), in partnership with the City of Kansas City MO, administers the Minor Home Repair Grant Program for owner-occupied homes. These grant proceeds will cover repair and replacement of essential systems, structural problems, roofs, and weatherization.

To be eligible for this grant your home must 1) be located within a NHSKC Targeted Area; 2) meet income guidelines; and 3) additionally meet requirements as outlined below.

    Both sides of the Paseo from Linwood to 63rd

Additional Requirements:

  • Only owner-occupied residential homes are eligible
  • Jackson County Real Estate taxes must be current
  • Mortgage (if any) – monthly payment must be current
  • Property must be located outside of the 100 Year Flood Plain
